Life Update

I haven't done a blog post yet, but if you have read my about me page you have an idea of who I am. The past few months have had ups and downs. Here is one of the ups: I am extremely active in coaching my sons in soccer and have done my best to help them improve their skills. We had some major successes in the Spring season, including a league championship and open tournament runner-ups. Besides playing and collecting TCGs, soccer is my other passion and I am happy to share this with my sons and their teammates. Now for the down moments...Unfortunately, my cancer has progressed and I am now in stage 4. While this was devastating news, I remain extremely optimistic, as I have one of the world's experts treating me and planning each step along the way. I am currently doing a trial that has worked on DOGS, so hopefully, I've got that dog in me!!! I remain unaffected by the tumors physically, and I have even started coaching another soccer team with my sons...well futsal, but close enough. Mentally I am positive but I have my moments of weakness, as pretty much everyone in my situation would. I have the best support structure around me and will continue to fight and beat this shit once and for all! Thank you for being great customers (I have 100% 5-star reviews) I appreciate all the kind messages in the reviews and via email. As for me, I will be spending time with my wife and kids, family and friends, and hopefully getting in a few games of Commander during this long 4th of July weekend.
